Across the Rann-3

"Which is more beautiful? Rann or the valley?"
"I believe you cannot compare beauty, one is unique, so is the other," he rolled his hands before himself as he spoke like an Italian.
"So, how do you know where to stay?"
"Your heart guides you. You don't choose beauty one over the other, you just follow one that, this how your heart wants to be with."
"So, all are allowed everywhere?"
"Yes, yes, all religion, caste, creed, you can eat in their langar and visit the shrine. However, your nationality may lead you to a little more higher prices than me. In fact, all Gods are same, they say the same boring repetitive messages, it is the human leprechauns who add spices and separate Gods even within same religions. This, one God religions are good, we know one man, we worship one ma, whose actions we adore. In Hinduism, so many Gods means so many grave men and women and we end up confused, whom to follow and whom to leave?"
It was these talks which took away the attention of Meher and she fell in one shot, from the mound she was climbing and down she got stuck in one place.
"Oye, oye madam, where are you running, wait I am coming? Now, Roohab ran behind her as she tumbled like Jill tumbled in the poem.
No sooner, had Meher stopped rolling, Roohab was behind her, pulling her hand out of the socket almost.
"Oye madam ji, hai, what to do? You wait."
He brought a sand digger and dug for almost fifteen minutes before her leg was visible properly. He pulled her out. But the boot remained, however she had far more worries to face, she was stung and a strong pain with a tingling, stinging sensation burned her feet, so much so that for a moment, she thought that she was bitten by some snake and that she would be dead in another few minutes. The thoughts took a cloudy form and she began screaming in the middle of nowhere.
Startled, Roohab began to head towards her, "what happened madam? Why are you screaming?"
"I am stung. It's burning." She was crying inconsolably.
"Where madam?"
"On my leg, you idiot."
In that hurry burry, he ran towards he left foot.
She kicked him in pure rage, "my right foot, I have no shoes on it, you stupid fool."she smacked his head and his humble turban was about to leave his proud head, when he somehow saved it preventing his proud head from taking ugly forms and shapes.
"Okay, sorry, sorry, he spoke in a strong kutch accent. After examining with a torch for about two minutes, he again smiled at her, and looked up at her face, "GOd is by your side, madam, you are saved, you have multiple stings but all by small baby scorpions, you might have fallen in one of the nests, but don't worry madam, you eat now, till you neck, and then drink water till it oozes out of your mouth, then rest, the burning will subside, and I will go down, search for your bag, and also bring some leaves to soothe the inflammation."
"Eat now?"
"Yes madam, its a little odd timing but what to do, you are stung? And if you want to survive you must eat. So eat."
As he vanished in the darkness, she made her way slowly to his bag, took out some two packets of food, and her extra pair of boots, tied them and repacked the one which was left in a lone pair with her. Then she ate for almost like half an hour and drank as much water as she could, till she could no more, she stopped.
The sky had become purple and the entire world around seemed like white enthroned in purple.
It looked ethereal, she had never seen any sky so beautiful as this one.
Her stinging had reduced and she saw a steady silhouette of Roohab growing slowly towards her.
He brought her bag but could not bring all the hanging gadgets, one of them being her automated compass and several such reading gadgets.
"Some gadgets, I did not find and I couldn't not restore the others."
